how to reduce carbon emissions in the future.

Our next step is
to work with your company towards
reducing your company's carbon
emissions which we aim to do by 20%
after developing an energy
management policy that is specific
to your business needs.
As a non

PR &
marketing opportunities
The
marketing and PR opportunities for a company
going carbon neutral are considerable. A
recent UK
survey found that one in three consumers
wants to go green and will actively support
'green' companies over less environmentally
responsible companies. We have a range of
marketing materials to support our
offsetting campaign: an official certificate
signed by the President of the Regional
Government of Loreto, a web banner and
posters, plus the opportunity for a company
to be a leader in its field, showing the way
so to speak, which is a very attractive
marketing proposition. There are several
green awards available. Business in the
Community has a special green award.
Marketing
materials:
-
·
Press
releases
produced on your behalf to friendly
press, local and national
newspapers. We work especially with
local press to write articles to
that effect.
-
·
Referrals
to
all our membership
community
which includes hundreds of
individuals and organizations with
thousands of supporters.
-
·
Handouts
designed
and printed
for your customer/clientèle
highlighting your environmental
commitment and endorsing your
membership (if you choose to use the
client involvement
option)
-
·
Circulation
of
your offers
to our carbon neutral community to
enhance your business.
-
·
Certificate
and
other marketing and branding
opportunities
that can be reflected in your
company's marketing activity as well
as in any branding opportunities,
stationary and website. (samples are

Enhanced corporate
image- CSR
World-wide deforestation is a
major factor in causing climate change.
You can meet your Corporate Social
Responsibility targets by offsetting
your outstanding carbon emissions
through supporting our tree planting
programme in Peru. This programme has
been submitted to the National
Designated Authority under Kyoto CONAM
for approval as a CDM project. This is
in partnership with
PROCREL,
a consortium which includes the National
Institute of Natural Resources (INRENA),
The Institute for Investigation of the
Peruvian Amazon (IIAP), Nature and
Culture International (NCI) and The
University for the Investigation of the
Peruvian Amazon (UIAP).
Environmental
Benefits
