At the moment we have two open positions for the Trust Fundraiser Position (Kenya and Peru Programme)

This internship is ideal for a recent graduate looking to develop useful fundraising work experience in the third sector and a small NGO environment. The ideal candidate should possess sufficient knowledge and skills to enable them to operate independently with very limited technical support and supervision.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Helping develop, implement and monitor fundraising campaigns and appeals.

·         Research, profile and liaise with appropriate donor bases, including individuals, trusts and statutory sources.

·         Drafting grant applications for Trust and Foundations.

·         Developing and maintaining our corporate, trust, statutory and individual donor databases.

·         Working as part of a team on large statutory grant applications.

·         General office administrative tasks.

Experience:

·         Fluent written and spoken English.

·         Good Organisational skills.

·         Good working knowledge of MS Office packages.

·         Strong research and writing skills.

·         Flexible attitude to role specification.

·         Ability to work on your own initiative and be good at problem solving as well as be able to work as a team.

The internship is unpaid and we are unfortunately unable to pay for any expenses for lunch or travel due to the economic recession.
